Are helmets required by law?

Helmets are not required by law, but they are the single most important accessory in Cycling.  Helmets protect the most important part of your body in case of an accident.   It does not matter how slowly or fast you are going, if your head hits the ground.  When you get into the habit of wearing a helmet, you will forget you have it on, and will likely feel “naked” without it.
