What kind of shoes should I wear?
A secure fitting closed toed athletic shoe is a good place to start. For safety it is best to stay away from flip-flops, shoes with heals, or ones with hard/ slick soles. You need your feet to be secure on the pedal while being easy to get on and off. A few examples of shoes not to wear are as follows; dress shoes with hard soles make be to slippery, a substantial heal on a shoe could get caught or in the way which could cause problems. Remember to keep your shoe laces secure and away for the chain and the other moving parts of your bike.
